More flavor... less sugar because our Gourmet Flavors are made for shave ice. Most companies use sugar as a thickener. This gives an over abundance of sugar and is really too sweet. Our flavors have an ingredient in it to encompass the snow so it does not go directly to the bottom of the cup giving you more of the fruit flavor and less sugar.
Hawaiian Five-OH Super 12 Gourmet Flavors are concentrated and require mixing with 4 pounds of sugar and 10 to 11 ounces of concentrate for each gallon of ready to use syrup.
Importantly, you use no preservatives with our flavors. No mixing sodium benzoate or citric acid is required. This gives you a consistent product to sell to your customers. Shelf life is up to 5 years for concentrate and ready to use flavors will go year to year. This saves you time and money.
Flavor concentrates are available by the gallon or quart. When you buy by the gallon, your
. Serving cost is about 7 cents. By the quart, your cost is about $5.99 per gallon of ready to use. Gross Profit Calculation.Super 12 requires no mixing with citric acid or sodium benzoate. Shelf life is approximately 5 years and ready to use syrup will go from year to year. This saves you time and money.
Should you want to mix sugar water ahead of time you will have to add preservatives to the sugar water as sugar water by itself will produce mold within 2 or 3 days!!

How to use Zinger! I like using a spray bottle filled with zinger. I spray a couple of squirts on the snow and then flavor it. Make any flavor extra sour!
